The Bonefish (Albula vulpes) is a sleek, silver-coloured fish renowned for its speed and elusiveness, making it a prized target for sport anglers. Inhabiting warm, shallow coastal waters, it frequents mudflats, sand flats, and seagrass beds where it feeds on benthic organisms. Typically measuring between 40 to 60 cm in length, some individuals can reach up to 90 cm and weigh as much as 8.6 kg. Its streamlined body and forked tail contribute to its agility and rapid movements in the water.
